Dear all,

12 June 2026 marks the 10th anniversary of the release of the album Modus Continuous.

This release took place on a beautiful evening at SO36, as part of the project “Yes, we can fly!”, organized and curated by guitarist Laura.aLL, bringing together six bands from Berlin. It also marked the launch of the Yellow Castle-arts & actions label & events.

________ Modus Continuous is a six tracks Album and brings influences of krautrock, noise, post-punk, dark jazz and experimental music. In CD and Digital formats, ‚Modus Continuous‘ was mixed and partly recorded by Martin Bisi on the legendary BC Studio – Brooklyn-NY, and mastered by Kurt (Pyrolator) Dahlke (label aka tak) in Berlin.

M.i.p.V went on tour in Brazil that year, 2016, with Gil Delindro on drums, playing at 10th Festival Morrostock (Santa Maria – Rio Grande do Sul) and more four cities (Porto Alegre, Florianópolis, São Paulo, São Carlos-SP). The band played with guest drummers after that, such as Imari Kokubo, Sara Neidorf, Marcello Busato and, in recent years, has been playing with drummer Pitchu Ferraz.

During this time and up until 2026, M.i.p.V played in Brazil, Uruguay and Germany and released the single “In Tarset” (2024, Berlin-Yellow Castle-Digital), marking the band’s 20th anniversary, also with concerts in Brazil (Festival Música Estranha, Nov. 2024, São Paulo), followed by its music video, in Tarset, directed by Denise Garcia Bergt and released in December 2025 in Berlin. Also in 2025, M.i.p.V released the music video “Südblock, solo version“, directed by Manu Sobral, with guitarist Laura.aLL playing solo the music “Südblock”, from Modus Continuous.

o dia 12 de junho de 2026 marca o 10º aniversário do lançamento do álbum Modus Continuous.

O lançamento ocorreu em uma bela noite no SO36, como parte do projeto “Yes, we can fly!”, organizado e com curadoria da guitarrista Laura.aLL, reunindo seis bandas de Berlim. O evento também marcou o lançamento do label e produtora Yellow Castle – arts & actions.

__ Modus Continuous é um álbum de seis faixas e traz influências de krautrock, noise, pós-punk, dark jazz e música experimental. Nos formatos CD e digital, “Modus Continuous” foi mixado e parcialmente gravado por Martin Bisi no lendário BC Studio – Brooklyn-NY, e masterizado por Kurt (Pyrolator) Dahlke (label aka tak) em Berlim.

A M.i.p.V saiu em turnê pelo Brasil naquele ano, 2016, com Gil Delindro na bateria, tocando no 10º Festival Morrostock (Santa Maria – Rio Grande do Sul) e em mais quatro cidades (Porto Alegre, Florianópolis, São Paulo, São Carlos-SP).
